Persona in Focus
There is a difference between simply being photographed and truly being seen. Persona in Focus is about capturing the personality behind the portrait—the confidence, attitude, style, energy, and character that make you unmistakably you. It's where the person becomes more important than the pose and where individuality becomes the inspiration behind every frame.
Everyone brings a different presence to the camera. Some personalities are bold and commanding, while others are quiet, mysterious, playful, sophisticated, rebellious, or effortlessly cool. My goal isn't to place everyone into the same poses or create the same photographs over and over again. I want to discover what makes your presence different and build the photography around it.
The Character Within
A person's true character often appears in the smallest details—the way you look into the lens, the confidence in your posture, the movement between poses, or the expression that happens when you're no longer thinking about being photographed. Those moments are where personality begins to take over.
That's what I'm looking for behind the camera!
I use creative direction, lighting, composition, wardrobe, location, movement, and posing to create an atmosphere that complements your personality rather than competing with it. I'll guide you when direction is needed, but I also believe some of the strongest photographs happen when there's enough freedom for you to simply be yourself.
